_ The 18th Annual Brooklet 5K Peanut Run:

About the Run & Course: In years past the Brooklet Peanut 5k run took place on the same day as the Brooklet Peanut Festival. The run will continue to be on the 3rd Saturday in August even though the festival will be held on the 3rd Saturday of September of 2018. The run ambles through the picturesque streets of Brooklet, GA. The course is flat & fast. In years past the course has been certified, however, the certification expired in 2014. Race organizers are attempting to re-certify the course however due to very few people available we cannot guarantee a certification by race date. The course will be well marked and guided by a lead bicycle. Due to the August heat, the run will begin promptly at 7:00 A.M. It is imperative that all participants wear their assigned race Bib# on their front and visible at all times as timing will be by this number.

This is a great run for the entire family at a great value. – Teams welcome!!!

REGISTRATION WILL END AT NOON ON AUGUST 17TH ON THIS SITE. NO GUARANTEE OF A SHIRT IF NOT REGISTERED BY AUGUST 6, 2018.

Race day registration Costs $30.

5K Run:7:00a.m./Awards Ceremony 8:10-8:20a.m.

Last chance registration and race packet pickup will be available on Fri. Aug.17th between 4:00p.m. & 7:00p.m. in front of the Brooklet Elementary School

This years’ race will be limited to 400 runners.

Take advantage of the early bird special on this site. Through July 5th, prices per individual runner will be on $17. After that the price goes to $20.and will run until August 6th. After August 6th you will not be guaranteed a T-Shirt and prices will go to $25. Registration on this site will be cut off at 12:01 P.M. on August 17th. Race day registrations will be $30 and no shirt.
