Treasure Run San Diego

• 10K:- Run 6.2 Miles
• 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Treasure Run is right around the corner so come dressed in your favorite pirate costume and run with us at low tide on the hard packed sand of Mission Beach for a 5k or 10k. Afterwards there will be a chance to dig for buried treasure! We'll be giving out Treasure Run T-shirts, Swag and a finisher's medal for each participant. 

Our event boasts not only a kid's only Buried Treasure area with toys, cash and prizes BUT we'll also be having an adult only treasure hunt with big-kid prizes such as wine, craft beer, gift certificates, cash and more! 

This is the fun run of 2018 you won't want to miss!

Additional Information & Event Schedule:

Date: 19 May, 2018 Saturday

Time: 7:30am

Location: on the hard-packed sand (during low-tide) at Mission Beach just south of the roller coaster. Use 3105 Ocean Front Walk, San Diego, CA 92109 in Google Maps or Waze and look for the Treasure Run signs.

Amenities/Refreshments: We will have color T-shirts, post-race refreshments, and finisher medals for all entrants! We will also be giving away great prizes from our sponsors! And a chance to dig for burried treasure! 

Treasure Runs 5k entry cost:  thru March 2nd $25 - (limited spots available at this price!), thru April 13th ($30), thru May 14th ($35), thru check-in ($45)
Treasure Runs 10k entry cost:  thru March 2nd $35 - (limited spots available at this price!), thru April 13th ($40), thru May 14th ($45), thru check-in ($55) 

Chip-Timing by: 

The Treasure Runs 5k will have 10 year age-groups, male and female, as follows:
14U, 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55+
The Treasure Runs 10k will have 10 year age-groups, male and female, as follows:
15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55+

Awards: 1st place in 10-yr. age-groups 

Awards ceremony will take place on the beach front just south the roller coaster and will begin about 15 minutes after the last runner comes across the line 

Refund policy: Sorry we do not provide refunds after Apr. 1st. However, you may transfer your entry to the following year or to another individual. There is a $15 transfer fee. You may request a transfer by contacting [email protected]

NOTE: If you live OUTSIDE of San Diego County, you may check-in race morning, May 19th from 5:30-7:00 a.m. If you live in the north, east or south sections of San Diego County, you may check-in race morning. Our events take place "rain or shine". 

At the MANDATORY CHECK-IN ALL ENTRANTS MUST PRESENT A SUITABLE PHOTO I.D.

YOU MAY NOT HAVE SOMEONE PICK-UP YOUR PACKET. YOU MUST PICK-UP YOUR OWN PACKET AND PRESENT YOUR I.D.
