Blast & Dash 5K...

_ The 2018 Blast & Dash 5K:

Who wants to be in the biggest Squirt Gun Battle of the summer?  And Dad get's to come for 1/2 price!   We're closing off Johns Creek Pkwy in the Johns Creek/Suwanee/Cumming area, and giving out squirt guns!  Awesome race shirts, squirt guns (and refills), and a shot at awards (overalls, masters, grand masters, sr. masters, and the top 3 in all the age groups...plus some (6 & Under, 7 & 8, 9 & 10, 11-14, 15-19, through 75+)
 

Registration:   Regular registration is open through Saturday 6/17...Race day registrations are welcome for $5 additional (shirts will be available while supplies last).   All participants receive a shirt, squirt gun, water bottle, and 1 refill on the course along the way.   Shirts & sizes are guaranteed if you register by 6/11...we'll order extra, but we can't guarantee anything after the June 11.

Course & Timing:   We're in North Georgia, and there's not much that anyone can call flat & fast...But this one is.   It's a three lap course, so it's perfect for shooting passers by with water.  We've also got a complete close on the road, so it's super kid friendly.  We'll be chip timing the start & finish, so if you're looking for a PR...this could be your event.

Awards & Goodies:   We have awesome award medals in the following categories:   Top 3 overall M/F, Top 3 overall masters M/F, Overall grand master's M/F, Overall Sr. master's M/F, Top 3 in each of the normal 5 year age groups...PLUS: 6 years & Under, 7 & 8 years, 9 & 10 years, 11-14, 15-19, through 75+.   Awesome race shirts to all participants...guaranteed & in your size if you register by 6/10.  Water bottle blaster squirt gun with refills  (but you're welcome to bring your own too)

Virtual Running:   Can't make it out to the event site on race day? Still want to participate and have a shot at an award?   or maybe you saw the shirt and said:  "Sweet...I want one!"   Then the virtual race is for you.   Here's how it works:  1. Register for the Virtual division & Start Training  2. The week of the event you'll receive your bib via email.  
3. The day before the race you'll receive instructions & a link to submit your race time.  4. Submit your race time by end of race day.  5. The day after the race results (Virtual Runner division) will be posted online.  6. Monday after the race you'll receive an email with a link to the results & any pictures.  7. Monday after the race we'll package up all the T-shirts & medals and put them in the mail. 

Five Star 5K Champ, & Turkey Trot:   All participants will receive FREE entry into the 2017 Five Star Turkey Trot. Top finishers will also earn a qualifying spot in the Five Star 5K Championships. See www.fivestarntp.com for full details.  

Event Courtesy & Refund Policy:   Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.  
All registrations are final...We're sorry, but there are no refunds, transfers, or deferments.
