_ The 7th Annual Button Down Dash 5K & 10K presented by Gwinnett Medical Center:

Toss your coat and tie, kick off your wingtips and get ready for a low-risk, high-reward race down Sugarloaf Parkway/Satellite Boulevard for the Gwinnett Chamber's 7th annual Button Down Dash, presented by Gwinnett Medical Center. Join us August 11 for this early morning run as Gwinnett races to become the healthiest community in the country!

Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place Overall Finishers 5K/10K  (male and female); 1st place Overall Master’s (male and female); and 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners (male and female) for following age groups:14 and younger, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-65, 70+

Awards will also be given to the Largest Corporate Team and the Tackiest Business Track Suit.

A portion of the 2018 Button Down Dash proceeds will go to The Primerica Foundation, a Gwinnett County and Metro Atlanta-based corporate foundation dedicated to supporting nonprofits that help people facing adversity work toward self-sufficiency. The Primerica Foundation recently received the prestigious D. Scott Hudgens Humanitarian Award at the Gwinnett Chamber's 70th Annual Dinner and has been named a Top 25 company-sponsored foundation by The Atlanta Business Chronicle. Established in 2010, The Primerica Foundation has granted over $6 million in funding throughout the state of Georgia -- nearly $4 million of which was awarded right here in Gwinnett County and Metro Atlanta. According to grantee data and impact reporting, funding from The Primerica Foundation impacts over 200,000 people a year.
