_ The 2018 Veterans 5K Run & Walk presented by ELDRIDGE ROOFING:
A 5K Run/Walk to Benefit the Veterans Drop-In Center in Rockford, IL. This is our 6th annual run and will, again, be held at Mercyhealth Sportscore One, Veterans Memorial Park! The run is on a flat, fast, beautiful course along the Rock River. This run is USATF certified (IL 15037NM) and is a 2018 RRR Circuit Race. $30 per participant, $10 for children 17 and under
Discount of $5 for RRR (does not include children 17 and under).
Late registration and packet pick-up on Friday, Nov 2nd from 4-6:30 pm at Sportscore One, and from 7:00-8:30 am day of event. DAY OF registration fees increase to $35 for adults and $15 for children. NO discounts.
No inline skates or dogs please! Contact us regarding strollers or joggers!
Shirts are guaranteed only if registered by 10-14-18.
Our cool dog tag awards are given to the top male and female winners, along with the top 3 male and female in each of the following age categories:
0-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
We are offering $100 cash prize each to top overall male and female, and $50 cash prize each to top male and female in the master category (50+) Plus, $50 cash prize each to top VET male and female!
Kids Fun Run at 8:15 am for kids 10 & under. Kids receive a bib, and after their run, some cool goodies.
Opening ceremonies begin at 8:30 am with our shotgun start at 9 a.m.
Online registration closes at noon on Thursday, Nov 1st. Timing provided by Tri-3 Sports Timing.
