_ The 2018 Healthy Husky 5K Color Run/Walk:

• The Morgan School of Clinton, CT will host it's 2nd annual "Healthy Husky 5K Color Run/Walk 5K" unofficially timed road race on Saturday, June 9, 2018 with a race start time of 9:00 a.m. & race day registration beginning at 8:00 a.m.

• The 5k (3.1-mile) race course begins and ends at The Morgan School, 71 Killingworth Turnpike in Clinton as it travels out to the Peters Complex onto Glenwood Road then along Hurd Bridge Road onto Cream Pot Road & returns back to The Morgan School.

• A community wide color run to benefit the THP "Project Purple" & overall student health & wellness efforts in Clinton, CT

Event details and schedule

• Pre-registration cost is $15 up until Thursday, 6/7/2018 @11:59 p.m.  After this you can register the day of the event at the cost of $20.

• Race day registration begins at 8:00 a.m.  Mile markers will be displayed along the course at each mile interval. There will be several water stations along the route & there will be a race clock to display runner's unofficial finish times as they cross the finish line.

• T-shirts to the first 100 registrants.

• The Clinton Police Department will be closing the race route to all vehicular traffic between 9:00 a.m. through 10:00 a.m. due to safety concerns.

• For your convenience Free parking is available at The Morgan School, 71 Killingworth Turnpike in Clinton.
