_ The 2018 Marion Made Challenge September:

Do you have what it takes to be... MARION MADE?
• 5k
• 30+ Obstacles
• 1 Amazing Non-Profit Mud Run

Charity + Military Challenge + OCR + Community = Fun!

Welcome to The Marion Made Challenge 2.0! Our first race in April was so much fun, we decided to do another one....this time even BIGGER, BADDER, and MUDDIER! This obstacle course race is a fundraiser in support of several student/cadet organizations at Marion Military Institute. ALL proceeds benefit the Corps of Cadets! Last year, we sold out registration!

RACE: Run, crawl, climb, push, pull and zig-zag across the beautiful 175-year-old MMI campus on a course that weaves throughout historical landmarks and leaves you tested and muddy!  Grab a friend and measure your strength, endurance and technique on our military-grade obstacle course, inspired by Navy SEALs training, while raising funds for a great cause!

Don't come alone!

Bring the whole family to climb and rappel down our 45-foot rock climbing wall and tower after you race or while you wait for your heat! Kids of all ages are welcome and encouraged to come, climb, rappel and RACE! Yes, race. We will even have a KIDS RACE (please register your child ahead of time. Ages 4-10 on the kids course).

Three of the cadet clubs that will be supported by this race include:

-The Swamp Foxes (our "special ops" club, which specializes in air assaults, MOUT, rappelling, weapons and equipment familiarization)

-Murfee's Mudders (our obstacle course racing club that built this course and continues to travel and compete in more races around the southeast)

-The Gaelic Club, which takes a group of students every year to Ireland for a study abroad summer!

100% of the proceeds go to these cadet clubs and the other clubs that assisted in the construction, promotion and execution of this race!  What a wonderful learning experience for these kids.

All proceeds from concessions benefit the Corps of Cadets. But, don't forget to bring CASH! We have an ATM on campus, in case of emergency.
