Due to the large scale of this event, WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU ARRIVE AT
THE MAIN GATE OF THE BASE (I-5 and Harbor Drive) NO LATER THAN
6:30AM.Course4This is a challenging 10K run with hills, tire obstacles,
river crossings, two 5-foot walls with mud on both sides, reservoir
crossing (3 feet deep), tunnel crawl, slippery hill climb, and the final
30-foot mud pit. Along the course there will be 6 water points with
medical personnel staged at each. A hint: Loose clothing and pockets

Parking & Shuttles5I-5 North to Camp Pendleton exit or I-5 South to
Harbor Drive exit. Enter the Camp Pendleton main gate. HAVE YOUR
DRIVER'S LICENSE, VEHICLE REGISTRATION AND INSURANCE INFORMATION READY.
Continue on Vandegrift, following the RACE EVENT signs (8.5 miles) to
the Lake O'Neill Recreation area. You will be directed to parking and
shuttled to the race start area. Again, WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU ARRIVE AT
THE MAIN GATE OF THE BASE (I-5 and Harbor Drive) NO LATER THAN
6:30AM.Rules6Sorry, there are no race refunds and race numbers are
non-transferable - only you can wear your race number. There is no race
day registration. Sorry, no dogs, baby strollers, joggers or children
under the age of 15 allowed on the course. However, all are allowed at
the race site.Special Team Instructions7Team captains are responsible
for: making sure all team members sign a waiver, handing out the race
numbers for your team, finding your team members on race morning.
If you are substituting a team member, have the new team member sign the
event waiver. Online waiver closes on October 1st. After this date, all
5 members of your team will need to sign the waiver on race day
together, regardless of which members have previously signed no
exceptions.Team Captains8Upon completion of your registration, in order
for your team to be registered in this race, you must have each team
member click on the link below, agree to the waiver, fill in their
information, and hit continue. Have your team members do this
ASAP!Divisions9You can race as an individual in your age group or as
5-person team (all 5 members must compete and finish together to be
eligible for timing and awards.)

Boots & Utilities = military boots and utility pants
or
Open = No restrictions on footwear or clothing.Categories10For
individual entrants, age groups are divided into 5-year categories in
both Open and Boots and Utilities, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,
40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+. For 5-person teams,
categories are Male, Female, Mixed, Military, Corporate, Public Safety,
& ROTC.T-shirt Pick-up & Gear Check-in11Race t-shirts must be
picked up prior to the start and you must have your race number to get
your t-shirt - no exceptions. Pickup starts at 6:30am. There will be a
secured bag check-in next to the t-shirt booth to drop off your
gear.Post Race Festivities12Music, plenty of food, drinks and beer will
be available at the festival. Open showers and closed changing tents to
get clean will be available on the festival grounds.Results/ Awards/
Photos13Awards given to the top 3 overall finishers as well as the top 3
in each division. Results post 3:00pm race day and photos the week
