About the Foundation to End Women's Cancer1Headquartered in Chicago,
the Foundation to End Women's Cancer was established in 1991 by the
Society of Gynecologic Oncologists (SGO) to promote public awareness of
gynecologic cancers, educate women about prevention, early detection and
post-diagnosis treatments.
The Foundation further supports research linked to gynecologic cancers,
such as ovarian cancer. Over 78,000 women receive a diagnosis of a
gynecologic cancer each year.About ChronoTrack Timing2Transponder timing
operated by Capital Running Company will be used to score the 10K and
5K races. The system uses a computer "tag" which must be tied to each
runners' shoelaces and records the exact time a runner crosses the
starting line and the finish line, resulting in a net time for each
runner. The D-tag is disposable. Overall awards will be based upon clock
time and age group awards will be based upon transponder times.Teams
Unleashed3This year's race registration will emphasize team building.
There is no better way to participate in the National Race to End
