 _ 2018 NECC Campus Classic 5K and Fun Run:

The NECC Campus Classic 5K and Fun Run has something for everyone. Participants can run or walk the USATF-certified 5K course through NECC’s picturesque Haverhill Campus and surrounding neighborhoods or cheer on their friends as they race to the finish line. We also offer a Fun Run for children ages 12 and under on our track. The 2018 Campus Classic will take place on Saturday, October 13 on the Northern Essex Community College Haverhill Campus, 100 Elliott Street, Haverhill. The 5K will begin at 10 a.m.; the Fun Run at 9 .am.

New this year: Chip-timed start and finish, courtesy of Bay State Race Services. For the first time, The Campus Classic will also coincide with the NECC Homecoming. All interested 5K participants are welcome to attend. Awards will be distributed to the top three male and female overall as well as the top three by the following age divisions: under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. All Fun Run participants will receive awards. If you are a proud college graduate or current student, you are encouraged to wear apparel from your college as you run or walk.

5K USATF certified course.
Fun Run features age-appropriate distances on the NECC track.
Walkers are welcome.
