registration and race day packet pick-up will take place at Giuseppes
Restaurant on Monterey and Court St (half marathon) and at Dinosaur

City to the Sea 1/2
Marathon is a point to point run beginning in downtown San Luis and
finishing at Pismo Beach. The course runs downhill for 6 miles before
beginning a series of rolling hills, at different grades, along country
roads at miles 7-10. The last 3 miles of downhill running you are met
with gorgeous views of the pacific ocean.
City to the Sea 5k runs along the ocean front neighborhoods of Dinosaur
Cave Park. The course has slight inclines/declines with one hill.Aid8

aid stations including liquids and emergency medical services are
provided along the course. Bathroom's can be found at the start line,
7/9 mile marker and finishing area.Weather9
Average high temperatures
for October in San Luis Obispo reach 79 degrees with average lows in
the 50's. Pismo Beach is generally 2-5 degrees cooler. Average
rainfall is .05 inches. The 2010 City to the Sea race was beautiful and

The course is open for three hours only. Walkers must
finish within that time period to participate in the half-marathon.
Walkers that start before the race starting time will NOT be allowed
through the finish chute. Sorry, no baby strollers, baby joggers, pets,
or skates allowed on the course. Considerations made for runners with
special needs. The course in suitable for wheelchair
