Our Mission

The mission of Westside JCC is to build community based on Jewish values by creating opportunities for gathering and learning.

We reach out to all Jews and the greater community by offering stimulating and innovative educational, social, cultural, recreational and communal programs and activities and fostering a strong connection to Israel.

We aspire to offer programming that provides meaning and purpose to Jewish values, and space that creates a sense of belonging for everyone it touches.

Health and Wellness Expo

Be sure to stop by our health and wellness expo for some FREE FOOD AND DRINK.  We will have bagels and cream cheese, fresh fruit, coffee, and hot chocolate.  Make sure to stop by and meet with our partners to learn about exciting health and wellness programs. 

Kids Fun Zone

The Kids Fun Zone will include a bounce house, facepainting, science, sports, and other fun activities. Meet staff and directors from our preschool and JCamp. 

Kids Fun Run

At 9:30 a.m. there will be a half mile run for children age 4 and up. Kids are welcome to wear costumes and have fun!

Race course

The course for the event is USATF Certified and will be officially timed by ITZAboutTime.  It will be an out and back 5k course on San Vicente Boulevard between Olympic Boulevard and La Brea Avenue.  The start and finish line will be located on San Vicente Boulevard near Stanley Avenue.

On race day, registration and packet pick up will be open starting at 6:30am.  Please plan on arriving at least one hour before your designated start time.  Registration and packet pick up will be at Westside Jewish Community Center (5870 W. Olympic Boulevard, 90036) in front of our Olympic Boulevard entrance.  Day of registrations are welcome!  

FREE race day parking is available at the Olympia Medical Center parking structure located on the Northwest corner of West Olympic Boulevard and Genesee Avenue.  There are limited spaces available and will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. Please have your id card and registration confirmation email available to show to the parking attendant. If you are registering on race day, let the parking attendant know.  IMPORTANT NOTE: Westside JCC's parking lot is reserved for volunteers and vendors. All attendees should park at the Olympia Medical Center parking structure. 

Additional street parking is available on Olympic Boulevard.  Please be sure to read street signs and observe all parking restrictions. Please be respectful of our neighbors when parking.
