Bookin' It for TCS Libraries...

_ The 2019 Bookin' It for TCS Libraries:

The first annual Bookin' It for TCS Libraries 5k is designed to fund Tuscaloosa City Schools' libraries and help all TCS libraries achieve exemplary status!

On average, TCS library books are nearly 20 years old. After 8 years with no funding, and minimal funding since, TCS libraries are in desperate need of an update to their collections to best serve our students!

The Bookin' It 5k will be a 3.1 mile course beginning and ending at the The Alberta School of Performing Arts. Parking will be available nearby at Alberta Baptist Church. Participants are encourage to dress like their favorite book character for the race, however this is not required.

Push rim wheelchairs and strollers are welcome for this race, but for safety purposes will be asked to start at the back of the corral. 

Awards will be given for the following:
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male student
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place female student
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male adult 18-29
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place female adult 18-29
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male adult 30-50
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place female adult 30-50
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male adult 51+
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place female adult 51+
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place push rim wheelchair
