2011 ITPMAN Swim/Run for ITP:
The ITPMAN Swim/Run for ITP is a non-profit event where 100% of all net race proceeds go to the ITP Foundation.
Thanks in part to athletes and sponsors like you, over $175,000 has been donated to medical research and to assist the numerous families living with ITP.
The ITP Foundation is a non-profit organization seeking to raise awareness of ITP, fund vital medical research, and provide financial assistance to the families of children with ITP. Course Info
12 mile swim and/or 5 mile run
Swim:
The race will begin on the beach.
Swimmers will make their way around three buoys in a counter-clockwise loop (keeping all buoys to their left) before finishing with a quick run up the beach.
Run:
The race will begin at Weed Beach Park.
As runners will leave Weed Beach Park they will make a left onto Nearwater Lane.
Right at Boston Post Road and right again onto Ring's End Road.
Right on Harbor Road back out to Ring's End Road and go right.
Then right onto Pear Tree Point Road.
Make a left onto Long Neck Point Road.
Run back on Long Neck Point road to Pear Tree Point Road.
Make left on Rings End Road to Boston Post Road take a left.
Make a left onto Nearwater Lane, and back to the beach area and finish line.
