2018 NRCM Polar Bear Dip & Dash

• 5K Run+ Dip:- Run 3.1 Miles

NRCM's chilling and thrilling 5k and polar bear dip raises funds to combat climate change. The 5k begins at 11 AM from Portland's Back Cove parking lot and ends at East End Beach. The dip is at noon. A shuttle returns participants to their cars. It's $35 to dip, dash, or both. It's a wildly fun event for a great cause! Festive music and DJ at 5k finish line, photo shoots with polar bear mascots, and screaming mayhem into the ocean!

Course leaves from the Back Cove parking lot (across from Hannaford) and ends at East End Beach.

• Flat, off-road, course.
• On December 31st, course can be icy or snowy.
• Be prepared for any challenging conditions!

The 5k starts at the the Back Cove parking area located at 80 Preble Street Extension, Portland, ME 04101.

Dipping only? Head right to the East End Beach on Cutter Street, off the Eastern Promenade.
