2019 Stowe 8 Miler & 5K

• 8 Mile Run:- Run 8 Miles
• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The 38th Annual Stowe 8-Miler & 5k is returning to Stowe, Vermont on July 7, 2019 for another day of scenic New England running! Join thousands of runners and spectators at Vermont’s best summer road race, where you celebrate your finish with refreshingly cool Island Homemade Ice Cream and delicious craft beer from Harpoon!

8 Mile Run: 
• The course starts relatively flat with no real elevation gains for the first 2.5 miles. At this point you go up a very short steep hill just before mile 3 and then a gradual downhill run to Mile 4.5, but take it easy as you will pay for this later! Mile 5 to 7 is rolling with two miles along a nice dirt road and the final stretch a gradual uphill climb back into town.

5K Run:
• The 5k starts at the same time and place as the 8-Miler, but veers off at Mile 2 and continues the last mile on the scenic Stowe Bike Path.

• Registration and packet pickup take place at the Stowe Recreation Fields,  135 Weeks Hill road.
• Please arrive by 7 a.m. to ensure you have time to park, check-in, and stretch before the race begins at 8:30 a.m.
