_ The 2019 Guntersville Wild Irish Run 5K/10K:

The Wild Irish Run 10K and 5K race course is all paved road with small rolling hills. One half of the course goes through downtown Guntersville and the other half will take you on a scenic tour along beautiful Lake Guntersville.

**The race is administered by the Guntersville Parks and Recreation Department utilizing certified course: AL96006JD. The race is open to ALL age groups!!

Event details and schedule

The 2019 Wild Irish Run is celebrating it's 41st year ! There will be both a 5K and a 10K race on Saturday March the 9th at 7:00am.The races will be headquartered at the Guntersville Parks and Recreation Department building loacted at 1500 Sunset Drive in Guntersville,AL.The race course is certified (AL96006JD) ,there will be watering stations at the 2.5 mile point and the 4.5 mile point with split times at every mile and the course is marked.The average temperature for Guntersville,AL is minimum 54 and 78 maximum.
