Description

The College of DuPage is pleased to announce the first annual Laps with the Chaps 5k Run/Walk! The race begins in the Chaparral Football Stadium, winds through the COD campus, and ends back in the Chaparral Football Stadium. All net proceeds will benefit College of DuPage scholarships. CARA certification is pending. Refunds are available with a doctors note specifically referencing relevant medical injury at least 24 hours prior to race day. Parking Information1Ample parking will be available in Lot Fawell A, just north of the Start/Finish area.Awards2Medals will be awarded for overall top 3 males and females, and for top 3 males and females in the following age groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+Timing3The race will be timed using returnable timing chips. Participants will be assessed a fee if a chip is not returned immediately after the race.
