_ The 2019 Donnelly Dash:

Our event helps to celebrate the lives of Tim & Kim Donnelly and to remember the spirit and heart that they shared with the community. Tragically taken on Feb 2, 2005 - they had a tremendous effect on all who met them and the many who shopped in their family jewelry store. 

We run & walk every year since then with their spirit in us. We offer a 3.5mi run, a 1.6mi walk, and a free kids run.

Since 2012 we have supported the Fairfield Police Explorers Post and the Fairfield Police Union Scholarship Fund with donations from our event. 

This year, in memory of Tim and Kim, and the thousands of lives lost each year to gun violence, we are proud to announce our partnership with MOMS DEMAND ACTION FOR GUN SENSE IN AMERICA - a grassroots movement of Americans fighting for public safety measures that can protect people from gun violence.  Moms Demand Action is part of Everytown for Gun Safety, the largest gun violence prevention organization in the country.  We hope you will consider additional donations this year to any of our non-profit partners.

We thank the Greater Bridgeport Youth Orchestra for the six year partnership with the DDCC and will continue to work with them in the future. 

Both our run and walk courses are very family friendly, fairly flat & have very few turns. 

The untimed walk starts at 9am- 10 minutes prior to the run -so that the course is clear for the runners. The timed 3.5 mi run starts at 9:10am

Our online registration is all inclusive. There are no added online charges for either distance. Ages 19-69 are $30, 18 & under is $20, 70 & over is $23. The kids run is free.

Great shirts will be available WITH SIZING GUARANTEED thru March 31. After that any give-aways will be sized "as available".  Do your best to pre register in time. Great post run/walk food will be on hand including the Taco Loco truck.

We thank our PREMIER PARTNER - the Gaelic American Club on 74 Beach Rd. for their generosity & support.

After the run/walk events all paid participants are invited for a post event gathering at the GAC. Paid participants over 21 can get a free beer at the club - or soft drink for all ages. Their kitchen will be open for brunch/lunch serving terrific food.

We welcome donations at ANY level for our non-profit organizations. Sponsor opportunities are also available at a variety of levels as well. Please contact our Race Director below for information on how you can help.
