_ The 2019 Mankato Maratho:

The Mankato Marathon is the Midwest’s boldest race, showcasing a dynamic course and determined runners. This year the full marathon will be on a new course with an urban feel, highlighting the beautiful Minnesota River Valley. Don't miss out on the Pork Power Bacon 5K and the perfect 10K , flat and downhill. Our cheer teams are sure to keep you motivated. After your run enjoy the post-race music and party designed just for you.

We are celebrating our 10th anniversary this year. To help celebrate, we are changing many things about the event, including different Swag items offered, new courses, and legacy runners! Come be part of the 10th anniversary where there are races offered to runners of each level. These races include: a full marathon, relay, half marathon, 10K, 5K, KidsK, Toddler Trot, and Diaper Dash. A host of accompanying weekend activities abounds for the whole family. The Mankato Marathon is a USATF certified course, making it a Boston Marathon qualifier. 

This year we are also offering three different race challenges for you to register. Our bold challenges include running the 5K paired with another race of your choosing. The "bold" challenge includes the 5K and 10K. The next challenge is our "bolder" challenge, which includes running the 5K and half marathon. Lastly, we have the "boldest" challenge. This will include our 5K and full marathon. Which bold race challenge will you take?

Registration opened on December 1st for this exceptional race on October 18-19, 2019. 

The Mankato Marathon was named the "Top Marathon Worth Traveling For in Minnesota"! The Mankato Half Marathon was named a 2017 Top 20 Half Marathon and Top 10 Beautiful On-Course Scenery in the country by The BibRave 100.
