Description
The 3rd Annual Rillito River Run presented by Silverbell Dental
benefiting the Volunteer Center of Southern Arizona starts and finishes
at Brandi Fenton Memorial Park in Tucson, AZ (Near River and Alvernon).
Choose either a 5k or 10k distance that follows the beautiful path along
the Rilltio River. On this course runners will follow both paved and
dirt trails with aid stations. All participants who register prior to
Nov. 27th are guarenteed a technical T-shirt.
Event Size1Expect 200-225 participants at this 3rd annual event. In the 2010 event there were just over 200 registered runners.Packet Pick-UP2Packet pickup will be Friday, December 9th from 4-7 pm at The Volunteer Center of Southern Arizona. It is located at 924 North Alvernon Way. We will be handing out the packets in the Community Room. If you are unable to pick up your packets at this time, you will be able to pick them up the morning of the race. In order to do this, you need to be to the event prior to 8:30 a.m. There will be a table set up near the Memorial Garden.Awards and divisions31st and 2nd place male and female overall 5k and 10k...1st and 2nd place age division winners for male and female 5k and 10k....Age divisions are:Under 20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 +....Drawings / Raffle4Each participant will receive 1 free raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase.Raffle items will be announced soon.Post Event information5Thank You to all that came out and supported the 2009 and 2010 events. It was a great success.
