2011 Run for Walton Pond 5K & 5 Miler:
Winding Trails and the Farmington Police Department are proud to announce the first annual NATPRO (Nations Protectors) Trail Race at Walton Pond.The proceeds of this event will help our Save Walton Pond project and the Wounded Warriors Project. During the 5 mile obstacle race individuals or civilian teams will have the opportunity to challenge teams of our nations protectors (military/police/fire) as they conquer the many natural and manmade obstacles the trails have to offer. (must be 18 or older) The second Annual 5K Run For Walton will also be held. You can join us for a picturesque 5 mile trail race or 3.1 mile Fun Run/Walk through the beautiful trails and around Walton Pond. Please be prepared for the weather and ground conditions that are common with trail runs. Due to the safety concerns on the trails, please NO strollers or pets allowed.Course Info
Obstacles will include walls, a log carry, tire course, mud pits, and many more.
