This 5K/10K run/walk begins at The Friendship Club and winds through scenic Nevada City. This is a fun event for all age levels. For updated information about the race, including a course map, visit us online at www.friendshipclub.org

Awards for first overall male and female in 5K and 10K runs. Medals for first three finishers in each age division in the 5K and 10K runs. Certificates of participation for all walkers. Every participant will receive a stainless steel water bottle
.Race day highlights include a disc jockey, warm-up exercises, free post-race massages and complimentary food and beverages.

The Friendship Club engages, educates and empowers girls at risk. Founded in 1995, The Friendship Club is a prevention program that helps girls at risk before they engage in unhealthy behaviors. They are taught life skills, personal responsibility and the value of hard work through a year-round program of educational activities, emotional support and community involvement. Participating in the Run for Friendship, ensures that our girls will continue to receive the help they need.
