Alabama Parkinson Fighter 5K & 1 Mile Walk

Join the Parkinson's community at UAB Campus Green on University Boulevard for a 5K run (you can also walk the 5K) and 1 Mile Walk to raise money for Parkinson's research.  5K will begin at 8 a.m. and 1 Mile walk will start at 8:30 a.m.  If you do not pre-register, you may register at the event from 6:30am-7:45 a.m. Online registration will close 30 minutes before race start time and t-shirts will be given to those registrants on a first-come first-served basis at the race. 100% of net proceeds will go to UAB Parkinson's research to find a cure!  We want you to be there and tell your friends and family!

How to wear your Bib-Tag Timing Chip:
5K participants will have a timing chip on the back side of their bib number which will provide timed race results. [Click Here] to see details on how to wear your Bib-Tag Timing Chip. Please wear your bib number on the FRONT of your shirt during the race. Remember to bring your bib number race day. No bib number means no recorded time. The timing chip is located on the back side of your bib number.
NOTE: If you are participating with a stroller and/or children, we ask that you keep your children with you at all times, and that you start from the back of the starting line. This will allow your family members, and our other participants, a safer race experience.

Cancellation Statement:
Entry fee is non-refundable. This event will occur rain or shine, warm or cold. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Parkinson Association of Alabama.

Transfer of Registration Policy:
