_ The 2019 We Run Oakland: For Our Children:

Join us for our 2nd annual 5K run/walk to raise Human Trafficking Awareness. Continuing with our contribution of bridging the gap between community, resources, and self-care, we are excited to expand our reach for 2019. Understanding a significant number of girls are impacted by human trafficking, the inaugural event focused on Our Daughters (We Run Oakland: For Our Daughters). Recognizing demand of exploitation is dominated by males, the 2nd annual event will focus on the respect between "him" & "her"; to teach our daughters AND our sons of the perils of human trafficking.  We Run Oakland: For Our Children is a family/community event designed to focus on our collective responsibility to STOP human trafficking. We hope you will join us in our effort to continue the community push in understanding the vastness of this epidemic on a local and understand how the collective can make incremental change to achieve positive outcomes.
