Description

2012 Lost Dutchman Marathon:

  • The 11th Annual Lost Dutchman Marathon will be held on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012.
  • The marathon is a scenic, rolling, point-to-point, USA T&F certified course (#AZ02007GAN) that can be used as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
  • All runners will receive free transportation to the start.
  • A clothing drop bag location will be at the marathon start, and runners will receive their clothes after the finish of the race.

    Marathon:
  • The elevation at the finish is 1840 feet.
  • The elevation rises and falls gradually numerous times throughout most of the course.
  • Every mile split will be marked.
  • The race will be chip timed.

    Race Size Limits: In order to maintain a small, friendly race and stay within the capacity of Prospector Park, registrations will be limited for the 2012 Lost Dutchman Marathon races.
  • Marathon: 600
  • Half Marathon: 1100
  • 10K: 650
  • 8K Trail: Run 650
  • 2 Mile Fun Run or Walk: No Limit
