_ The 2019 Anniversary NIA Jingle Bell Run:

Join us Saturday Dec 7th, as the Nichols Improvement Association presents our 30th holiday classic, on a scenic rolling hill 5K course through the heart of the Nichols community, with one of the best race finishes in Fairfield County. Walkers are welcomed to participate in a our Health Walk on the rolling hills of Nichols. Stroll, walk, push the kids...everyone is welcome!  PLEASE Come Dressed to Run - There are no Indoor Changing Facilities.

EVENT FEES:
$30 for 30 Years
The Nichols Improvement Association is a Not For Profit organization. Proceeds from the race go back into supporting community events & maintaining our property, ball fields, community playground & the Starkweather House.

JINGLE BELL 5K & Health Walk 
All Ages:
$30 - Pre-registered on/before December 3rd
$35 - Walk-in registration

KIDS RACE - JINGLE BELL JR. – Kids 1/3 mile “Fire to the Finish” (FREE!)
Register for FREE on this website. Start is at the Nichols Fire Department - kids receive a commemorative children's race bib.
Commemorative shirts can be purchased for an additional $10.

HIGHLIGHTS:
Long-Sleeve Holiday T-Shirts (Guaranteed to 5K/Walk registrations on or before November 18th). After that, while supplies and sizes last.
Food & refreshments prior to and at the conclusion of the race.

   (corner of Unity Road & Route 108)  from 3:30pm - 8:30pm

Awards:
Overall Male & Female Champions receive prizes and are removed from their age groups. 
Age Group Awards for male & female - three deep (1st, 2nd, 3rd) placements for 9 & under, 10-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90+
 
EVENT DAY SCHEDULE:
7:30 AM - Registration at Nichols United Methodist Church (Walk-ins bring cash or check)
9:15 AM - Jingle Bell Jr. starts in front of Nichols Firehouse on Shelton Road ... Children must be checked-in by 9am (go to walk-in registration table inside NUMC)
9:30 AM - NEW Jingle Bell One Mile Health Walk starts (untimed event)
9:30  AM - Jingle Bell 5K Run starts
10:15 AM - Post Party & Awards Presentation
