_ The 2019 Phillippi Shores 5k - 1mile fun run:

The Phillippi Shores 5K, presented by Dr. Mac DDS, is sponsored by the Manasota Track Club and for the sole benefit of the Phillippi Shores International Baccalaureate World School and its students. Our race is part of the Manasota Track Club/New Balance Racing Series. Come out and show your talent and earn some well-deserved race series points.

The 1 Mile Fun Run is a great family event that invites all athletic levels to join in on the fun. Whether you sprint or enjoy a leisurely walk on the 1-mile course, you are sure to enjoy the experience that will earn you a ribbon!  

The Family Fun Zone comes alive after the 5K run and remains open until 10:00 AM. Runners, walkers, and spectators will enjoy games, face painting, and jump houses to continue the fun.  

At the Recovery Zone enjoy delicious and nutritious snacks and drinks to recover from your morning activity.

5K awards: Overall youth and adult, male and female, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters and Veteran; 5K Age group: 5 year age groups- Male and Female (6 Deep); 1-Mile Fun Run: Ribbons for all finishers and prizes for top male and female; Special Award for largest team!
5K is 2 laps with no off road areas.  This makes it a viewer-friendly race.

Packet Pick-up is Thursday the 3rd from 4-7 and Friday the 4th from 4-6  at
 Phillippi Shores Elementary, located at 4747 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34231,
