_ The 2019 Frosty 5K:

Frosty is Turning Ten!  Join us for the celebration on a scenic, well-supported, course starting and finishing at Twin Lakes Park in Sarasota.  Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome.  Then, after the race,  unwind at a one of the best post-race celebrations around with music, costume contest, door prizes, and great beverages and noshes from our sponsors and supporters.

Frosty 5K is limited to 800 and sold out early the past five  six years in a row.  Register soon so you don't miss the best holiday 5K around. 

Race morning schedule: 

• Packet Pick-Up:  6:30 a.m. to 7:45 
• Race Start:  8:00 a.m. 
• Post-Race Celebration: From the First Finisher until 10:30 a.m. 
• Costume Contest:  9:15 a.m.

Directions & Parking: Twin Lakes Park 1/2 mile east of I-75 on Clark Road, ( I-75 exit 205) For parking, enter off Clark Road into Twin Lakes Park and follow parking directors signals. OR Proceed another 0.2 miles to Ibis Street. Turn right on Ibis Street, 0.3 miles, turn right into Twin Lakes Park and follow parking directors’ signals.   Use caution when arriving and moving about the park.  Swales and low lying areas frequently contain standing water.  We recommend you stay on the designated roads, sidewalks and footpaths.

We love our pets too but they are not allowed at Twin Lakes Park for the Frosty 5K.  Sarasota County Parks prohibits dogs, cats and other pets except for dogs trained to assist or aid disabled or handicapped persons when such dogs are actually being used to assist or aid such persons.

Frosty 5K is a rain-or-shine event; however, the event organizers reserve the right to cancel the event due to severe, inclement weather, emergency,  natural disaster, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond the organizers' control.  In the event of cancellation, there will be no refund of entry fees.
