The Getaway Run Series is back in St. Pete in 2019! Come enjoy all the festivities designed to make you feel like you are on vacation, even if you are close to home! This year you will have even more options with a new race distance to be announced soon. The Post-Race Celebration includes food trucks, beer, face painting, interactive activities, live music and much, much more!

All courses will have the same start and finish line in Albert Whitted Park! The courses run along Tampa Bay with beautiful views of the water with Tampa in the distance. More course specific details and maps to come!
• All race levels will travel from Albert Whitted Park and along Tampa Bay
• The course will be marked with directional arrows
• The 10K will have three water stops on course with water and Gatorade product, the 5K will have one water stop
• The 10K and 5K will be officially timed
• All 10K and 5K runners will receive a custom Getaway 10K or Getaway 5K finisher’s medal
The Getaway 5K is adding a 10K! The timed 10K run will start and finish at Albert Whitted Park. The route will travel an out-and-back course in beautiful, downtown St. Pete. Participants will run along the water, past the 5K turnaround point, before returning to Albert Whitted Park for the finish line and the post-event party. All ages welcome.

The Kids Fun Run has two distance options for children 12 and under – 1/3 mile and 1/8 mile. Both distances run near the park with views of the water and Tampa Bay in the distance.
