Description

2011 Newtown Turkey Trot 5K:

  • The start is at Hawley Elementary School and the Finish is at Newtown Middle School, a short distance away.
  • There is ample public parking.
  • Proceeds benefit the CH Booth Public Library.
  • This is the second year for this event and we look forward to strong attendance again.
  • We will also repeat the Newtown 5k Grand Prix.
  • Runners with the lowest verified combined times for the Newtown Rooster Run (June), the Newtown Road Race (September) and this race, will be awarded prizes for their results.

  • The course starts at Hawley School and ends at the Newtown Middle School, a short distance away.
  • The course includes scenic downtown Newtown, including almost a mile of historic Main Street.
