_ 2019 St. Andrews Choir Race To End Hunger 5K Run:

The 10th annual Race to End Hunger will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Colchester Town Hall, 127 Norwich Ave. Same day registration will take place at 8 a.m.

The event is a certified 5K run/walk with all proceeds going to the local Food and Fuel Banks and the Free Community Lunch Program. 

3.1 mile run, all on pavement.
2 medium sized hills.
Race starts on long, gradual uphill.
Race finishes with last half mile mostly down hill.

Start of the 2010 5K Rhythm Run in Colchester, Connecticut
with Historic Bacon Academy (circa 1803) in the background.
 

Colchester is in southeastern Connecticut, 25 minutes from Hartford on Route 2.

From Hartford: (on route 2)
Take exit 18
Turn right off exit onto route 16.
Turn right at town green (main street)
Turn left onto Norwich Ave.
Town Hall will be 1/4 mile on left.

From Norwich: (on route 2)
Take exit 21
Turn left onto Norwich Ave.
Town Hall will be 1.8 miles on tight.
