Featuring four different events:
-MedExpress 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk
-UPMC Health Plan 5K Turkey Trot
-5 Mile Turkey Trot
-Gentile, Horoho & Avalli, P.C. Double Gobble: The Double Gobble consists of the 5K Turkey Trot followed by the 5 Mile Turkey Trot! (5K course begins at 8:30 AM, 5mile course begins at 9:15 AM)

Important Registration Information:
-All sales are final. No refunds will be issued.
-Transferring your registration to another person is not permitted.
-Race day registrations will be limited to 100 people. We will only be taking credit cards as payment on race day.

Note: Look for our giant inflatable turkey. Runners may use the Parking Lane next to the park, free of charge, for packet pick-up during unrestricted hours. Don't forget to bring a reusable bag for your packets and non-perishable food items for our annual food drive.
Note: Receiving a race shirt in your size is NOT guaranteed. We recommend picking up your packet early if you wish to receive your shirt.
Family/Friend Packet Pick-Up:
You are allowed to pick up packets for family and friends by showing a copy of their registration confirmation email. You will not be able to pick up a packet for a friend or family member with an unsigned waiver. Please make sure you enter accurate email addresses upon registering so the participant receives his or her waiver.
Race Day Packet Pick-Up:
There will be no race day packet pick up. Please make arrangements to have family/friends pick-up your packet before race day if you are unable.
This is a family event! Strollers are welcome but must line up near the rear of the start area.
Dogs are must are welcome at our event provided they are leashed and friendly. Runners with dogs must line up near the rear of the start area. Want to match your pup on race day? Get your 2019 pup bandana when you register.
Parking is pre-paid and included in your registration! Parking lots around the park will be open on race day as follows:
-Participants arriving prior to 8:00 AM may use Gold Lot 1, Lots 7A, B or C, or the West General Robinson Street Garage.
-Participants arriving after 8:00 AM may use Lots 7A, 7B or 7C, or the West General Robinson Street Garage.
-PLEASE NOTE: There will also be parking available at the Carnegie Science Center, but the Science Center lot WILL NOT be free.
The T's new North Shore Connector will be open on race day. At this point in time, the Port Authority anticipates service starting at 6:00 AM. Please call the Port Authority at 412-442-2000 for exact stops and times as race day approaches. Park at the 1st Avenue Stop and ride the "T" to the Allegheny Stop to avoid both pre and post race traffic!
Not a runner but still want to be part of the event? No problem! We'll need over 100 volunteers on the day of the Turkey Trot and could really use your help. From water stops to registration, there's something for everyone to do to help out with the race. Please register as a volunteer here.
Ribbons will be awarded to first, second, and third place finishers, for the 1 mile, 5K, and 5 mile in ten year age categories. The Marty Sudzina Award will be given to the top finisher for the 5K, both Men and Women in the Regular and Masters divisions. Kiddie Finisher Medals will be given out for the 1-Mile only. Overall first, second, and third place finishers will be awarded to Men and Women who run the Gentile, Horoho & Avalli, P.C. Double Gobble.
