_ The 2020 Sophie’s Run @ Lake Waukomis:

Sophie's Run is not a 5k, but is close to a 5k.  This "fun run" road race features a serene setting with rolling hills and a beautiful finish across the dam with US flags soaring overhead, a refreshing water view and activities in the park before and after the run. It features an awesome community that cheers you on at every turn and a wonderful group of volunteer citizens who help make this run an organized and fun event. It is a great family event featuring children's entertainers, children's activities, a kid's dash, and team competition.  Off-site parking is available with shuttles to/from the park.  Convenient, organized and raises money for students who need alternative communication.
