Come be a SUPERHERO!

Join us for the 12th anniversary of the CASA Superhero 5K Run/Walk, Saturday, February 22nd @ Academy Sports in Cumming GA.  

It's the 12th anniversary and we're keeping the great things great!

Chip Timing, Shirt options (Short sleeve tech or upgrade to a hoodie), Photo Ops with Superheros, Awards to the top 3 Overall M/F, top 3 Overall masters M/F, Overall Grand Master M/F, Overall Senior Grand Master M/F, and the top 3 in all the usual Age Groups, plus a few more.

Beneficiary

CASA of Forsyth County believes all children need a Hero, but the foster children we serve need Superheroes! Come join us for the CASA Superhero 5k and/or Superhero Fun Run and be a foster child’s Superhero!

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 that trains community volunteers, just like YOU, to be the voice for abused and neglected children in foster care.  For more information about our CASA program please visit our website: https://forsythcountycasa.org/

Packet Pickup

Early packet pickup:  Location  TBD...Friday, February 21, 2019

1:00 PM until 6:00 PM Come pick up your shirt and bib before the race!  You can sleep in an extra 30 minutes!

Day of race packet pickup: Check in opens at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, February 22nd, but remember race start time is 8:30 a.m. sharp!

Bib Mail out: Sleep in and skip the drive on Friday.  For just $2.50 you can have your bib mailed directly to you (no refunds).

Awards & Goodies

All 5K participants registered on or by February 16th are guaranteed a race shirt:  Awesome short sleeve tech race tee, women's cut available.  You can purchase an additional hoodie too!

Course & Timing

We start and finish in the same spot, right next to Academy Sports, with an out & back USATF Certified course that is spectator friendly.

WHAT IS CASA?

COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES (CASA) of Forsyth County works to serve abused children by advocating for each child to have a safe, loving, and permanent home.

Five Star Turkey Trot & Championships

• All participants will automatically qualify for FREE entry into one of the 2020 Five Star Turkey Trots.
• Top finishers will also have the opportunity to earn a spot in the Championships held in January 2021. The number of spots available is based on the total registration...see event website for details.

Event Courtesy & Refund Policy

Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.

We're sorry, but there are no transfers, deferments, or refunds

The event will be held rain or shine and all registrations are final.  In the case of severe weather, the event will be cancelled for the safety of the participants.  Unfortunately there are no refunds.
