THE ONE IN FIVE 5K HAS GONE VIRTUAL!

As COVID-19 spreads and health officials warn against large gatherings of people (and because the safety of our supporters, clients, and staff is always our top priority) we are sad to announce that it will be impossible for us to assemble at Thomas College on April 26, 2020. After careful consideration, we have determined that the 9th annual One in Five 5K should go VIRTUAL!

You will be able to run or walk at your own pace and choose when & where you do it.  You can go outdoors or use your own treadmill.  It\'s up to you!  You won\'t have to worry about where to park, where to put your things, or whether you\'re going to make it to the finish line by 9:00 AM on a Sunday morning!  (Hey, we\'re trying to look on the bright side!)

You can literally participate anytime between April 26 and May 10. The price will not increase.

The first 300 registrants who sign up before April 10 are still entitled to their free t-shirt but they need to be picked up.  If you are unable to pick up a t-shirt in Winthrop Maine please select the appropriate option. This will help us when it comes time to place our order.  Thank you for your understanding.

Due to the unexpected, quick change of plans, the results of this race will be based on the honor system; and no medals will be awarded by age categories.  You will still have the option of timing yourself and submitting your results to us for upload or simply letting us know that you have completed the 9th annual One in Five 5K.

The race route will begin at 180 West River Rd. In Waterville, Maine (Thomas College) and proceed north towards Kennedy Memorial Drive. The route turns around at Roland Street and back then past the start to Eaglewood Drive (the sports fields) and down the back way through campus to the finish line.
