Description

2011 Harvest Hustle 5K:

The Junior League of Greater Orlando (JLGO) is proud to present the 4th Annual 5K run/walk on October 27, 2011 in Baldwin Park at 6:30 p.m.

An after-party and costume contest will be held in Baldwin Park immediately following the race.

The League is committed to utilizing the skills of our volunteer-based organization to make the greatest impact in the areas that need help most and have focused our efforts on the core cause: childhood health, hunger and poverty.

Funds raised will support JLGO community programs such as HIP Kids and Kids in the Kitchen, which help combat childhood hunger and poverty while educating impoverished children and their families on healthy habits.

Course Info

This fast single loop certified course will start near the intersection of Jake St & Broad St. Mile marks throughout the course.

One water stop will be placed at the 1 mile mark.

Parking: Located off of Jake St. Behind shopping Plaza.

Packet Pick Up & Race Day Registration

Race day registration available starting at 06:30 am. Packet pick up will be open on race day at the race site from 06:30 am to 08:00 am.

Packet pick up will be at Fleet Feet Sports (397 E. Altamonte Drive, Altamonte Springs, Fl 32701, 407-772-2233 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting           407-772-2233   end_of_the_skype_highlighting) on Wednesday, October 20th from 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 21st, 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Packet pick up on Friday will be at Baldwin Park at a place to be determined. 

T-Shirts and Amenities
All paid entrants receive a T-shirt, goodie bag, snacks, and refreshments. T-shirt & sizes are not guaranteed on day of race registration.

Awards 

• Top 3 Male & Female Overall
• Top 3 Male & Female Age Groups in the following age categories: 14 & under, 15-18, 19-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-45, 46-49, 50-54, 55-60, 60-69, 70+

Race Number
Your official race number must be worn and fastened to the front of your shirt or shorts. DAG timing chip will be in race number. You must pick up your race number which is included in your race packet at the registration desk on race day.

Donations
If your unable to attend, but want to support the Junior League of Greater Orlando you can simply register as a Ghost Runner. Simply register as if you were running, but select Ghost Runner under drop down menu "who are you registering for".

Canned Food Drive
The Junior League of Greater Orlando will be collecting canned foods prior to the race to support Second Harvest Food Bank. Please bring a canned food item.
