_ The 2020 Miles in Style 5k:

Join Effingham College & Career Academy Student Council's annual Miles in Style 5k charity event! This is a themed race which is open to all, walkers and runners alike. Our theme this year is we all have a little superhero in us as we make a difference in our communities. Gather up your best superhero cape and let's get moving! A portion of our proceeds will benefit Family Promise of Effingham.  Help us help transform the lives of the families in our community. 

The race takes place on a scenic route perfectly shaded under large pines and beautiful live oaks.  The course takes you on a loop of historic Honey Ridge Farms winding through lush greenery providing you with a perfectly peaceful and scenic route. The route is not paved, but will be free of large obstacles and is completely stroller and pet-friendly. All registrations after Wednesday, April 1, 20120 will not be guaranteed a race t-shirt. However, online registrations will remain open until Wednesday, April 22, 2020.

Event details and schedule

On race day, be sure to arrive in time to collect your race packet. Packet pick-up begins at 8:00 a.m. and will continue until the start of the race. Please be sure to bring identification to receive your items. We will also have on-site registration for those last-minute participants. Registration fees for the day of the race will be $40, with t-shirts available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Don’t forget to dress up for the styled theme. So break out your most super, superhero outfit because it’s all about Superheroes for Families!
