_ The 2020 AOII Run For The Roses 5K Run/Walk:

Come out the the annual RUN FOR THE ROSES 5K at Sandy Creek Park in Athens, GA.  This year the race will benefit The Arthritis Foundation.

Also, A section of the race will be a color run. (Color is optional!)

Event details and schedule

Race day registration and packet pickup: Begins at 9AM

5K: Starts at 10AM

Awards: Will be presented to Overall Male/Female, and first, second and third place in 10 year age groups beginning with 10 and under and going through 60 and over.

Shirts and goodies: T-shirts are available for pre-registered runners who register by 3/10/20.  Those who register after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size. There will be plenty of refreshments.

Timing and Results:  Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com www.athlinks.com.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2020 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info:  In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
