_ The 14th Annual Heart and Sole 5k Run/Walk:

The 14th annual Heart and Sole 5k Run/Walk will be held Saturday, March 7, 2019 in Downtown Augusta. The course will begin and end at Children's Hopsital of Georgia, where numerous miracles take place every day. This event is for the whole family, including runners, walkers, children in strollers and participants in wheelchairs.

Heart and Sole inc. was founded in September 2006 in memory of Margaret Bowen McElreath. In July 2005, Bowen was born with a special heart. At three days old, Bowen was transported to MCGHealth Children's Medical Center where she became a member of the Children's Heart Program family. Bowen's life of thirteen short days ignited the flame for Heart and Sole - where our hope is that we can help children with special hearts for lifetimes to come!

Whether you participate in the 5K or not, come on out for an amazing cause. Celebrate the gift of giving back to children with special hearts and dance the night away at our Evening Celebration! Food, drinks, friends and live music! You will not want to miss the fun time performed by Papa Sol!
