_ The 2020 Wag & Walk 5K, benefiting Etowah Valley Humane Society:

Please join us for the Third Annual  “Wag & Walk 5K" to benefit the Etowah Valley Humane Society.  The race will be held Friday evening, April 17th and will take place at the Sam Smith Park located at 152 Milner Rd., S.E., Cartersville, GA  30120.  Come enjoy this fast and beautiful course that rounds the Milam Farm as you get your exercise in BEFORE your big Friday night out!! And it's all for a great cause to benefit the EVHS! Dogs are (of course!) welcome to run with you (Some would even say they are "encouraged" to do so!!) But as always, please do keep them on a leash. 

On-Site Race Day Registration will begin @ 5:00 PM with the 5K starting at 6:30 PM. Awards to follow. 

5K Price is $25 for pre-registrations completed on Active.com prior to 11:00 PM Monday, April 13th.  (NOTE: However, to guarantee your t-shirt size, you must register by April 8th!!) $35 race-day registration fee.

Event details and schedule

PARKING and Race Start-Finish: Race Day Parking as well as the Start/Finish lines are both located adjacent to Sam Smith Park next to the Cartersville Soccer Complex (Behind Cartersville Middle School) located at 152 Milner Rd. SE, Cartersville GA 30120. Pre-Registration Packet Pick-up, as well as Race-Day-Registration, both begin at 5:00 PM on the day of the race.
