Get your Halloween Week started off right. Come out and enjoy a great
EVENT! There's a 13K for those who like longer distances with a spooky
core...A 5K for the person who wants a shorter experience...and a 1 mile
fun run if you want to dress up and party.
Awards, Goodies, & Finish Line Festival1Awards to the top 3 finishers in the Fun Run, top overall in the 5K & 13K, overall masters (40+) in both 5K & 13K, top 3 age group awards starting at 10 & under through 60+. Great Long Sleeve shirt guaranteed to all per-registered participants. Trick or Treat goodie bags complete with some goodies.Costumes2Awards for best costumes...singles, couples, groups, maybe even some surprises.Race Day Schedule3Check in Starts at 3:30 pm; Fun Run...5:00 pm, 13K...5:15 pm, 5K...5:30 pmPace requirements413K participants must hold a 11:30 min/mile pace in order to clear the course before sunset. Athlete's remaining on the course roads, will be picked up and carried to the Park trail.Course5Fun Run course is FLAT and all in the Park...5K & 13K courses are gentle rolling hills and flat. Streets, sidewalks, and some gravel. All three are scenic and along the river.Event Beneficiary6A portion of the Proceeds will go to the Boys & Girls Club of Gilmer County. Other local groups will have the opportunity to be involved through the Race for Something Bigger Program.Entry Fee & Registration7Regular registration: 13K...$30; 5K...$25, Fun Run...$15. Late/Day of Registration add $5. Last day for a guaranteed shirt on race day is Sunday Oct. 16.
