_ The 2020 Jamestown Run:

The Jamestown Run was established over 40 years ago by Jamestown Elementary School teachers and on March 14, 2020 we'll be carrying on a tradition of encouraging people in our community to live a more healthy lifestyle while raising important funds for our school.  The run is an annual 2 mile and 5 kilometer community event coordinated by Jamestown Elementary parents, teachers, and staff as well as volunteers from around Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties.  Promoting physical health relates to food, fitness, social and emotional health, and community and environmental health. We would love to have you be part of this anticipated yearly event in our community.

Event details and schedule

On March 14th, 2020, you are invited to the 36th annual Jamestown Run, a 2 mile, 10K run/walk. All proceeds from this fundraiser go directly towards enrichment programs that will benefit the students at Jamestown Elementary. Come have fun with friends and family while ensuring our students get to participate in 6th Grade Science Camp and the school band has the instruments, uniforms, and other supplies needed. Join us at one of the most magnificent times of year in the green hills that stretch outside of Jamestown. This 2 mile and 5k road run starts at the heart of Jamestown, the elementary school, and stretches out of town into the rolling foothills and then loops back to the school.  

Late registration available day of event and during T-shirt pick up.

Pick up Shirts  on March 13th from 3pm to 6pm at the Jamestown Elementary School Library.

Event details and schedule

**Race Day Registration at 7:00am in the Jamestown Elementary School Library.  Start and finish at the elementary school.

**Race starts at 8:30am. There is plenty of available parking at Jamestown Elementary School parking lots in front of and across the street from the school, and at Railtown Historic State Park all within a few blocks from the starting line. 

Rain or Snow. 

No strollers. No dogs.
