2020 Jog for Joey 5k Run:

NEW LOCATION THIS YEAR!! THIS YEAR'S RACE WILL BE HELD AT SOUTH POINTE PARK AT 521 S SYCAMORE ST. IN EL PASO, IL AT 9AM ON SATURDAY MAY 30TH. Come join us in celebrating El Paso Hometown Days on May 30th.  Check the City of El Paso facebook page for the weekend's activities including the Jog For Joey 5k Run/Walk.  Some of these activities include live music, food trucks, face painting, swimming, etc.. This is our 4th annual Jog For Joey 5k Run/Walk.  Joey Gardner was a 2016 graduate of EPGHS who passed away suddenly in 2017 from ALL (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia).  Joey had an impact on the community before his passing through his humble, kind spirit and love for all those he encountered.  All funds raised from this race supports The Impact Award given to deserving senior students in recognition of a trustworthy, kind and humble spirit demonstrated by passionate effort and respectful behavior toward staff and students.  Students are not able to apply for this award.  The potential recipients are nominated by select members of the EPGHS staff.  Last year we were able to give 2 students each a $3000.00 award.

Please join us for a free kids race after the 5k.  This year we are again offering the opportunity to register as a Virtual Runner.  If you are unable to make the race but would still like to donate and receive a t-shirt, please register as a virtual runner and we will mail your shirt to you after the event. 

KIDS RACE IS FREE (10 AND UNDER)  BUT IF YOU WOULD LIKE A T-SHIRT CLICK ON THE BUTTON TO BUY A SHIRT FOR $10.  IF YOU DO NOT WANT A T-SHIRT FOR A CHILD YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER.  ONLY REGISTER FOR KIDS RACE IF YOU WANT A T-SHIRT

Race begins at South Pointe Park at 521 S Sycamore St. in El Paso, IL at 9am.  Same day registration will begin at 7:00am at South Pointe Park.  

Registration Deadlines:  $30.00 registration until May 29th, $35.00 registration fee same day of race.  T-Shirts are guaranteed if registered by Sunday, May 17th.

Early packet pick up will be held at South Pointe Park Friday, May 29th from 6pm-8pm.  We will have packet pick up also starting at 7am the day of race.
