_ The 2020 Run For The Hills:
The Friends of the Oswegatchie Hills Nature Preserve (FOHNP) invites you to the first annual ‘Run For The Hills’ trail run through an amazing rugged forest, teeming with wildlife and filled with beautiful ponds, streams, and rock formations. The course takes you by the beautiful Clark Pond and up to Mt. Tabor, the highest elevation in The Hills (280 ft). All proceeds from the race go directly to maintaining this special place of quiet beauty for future generations to enjoy.
Registration and bib pick-up start at 8:30AM, the race begins at 10AM with trail runners starting ahead of hikers. There are two Trail Run options… a 5K-ish (3.3 mile) and a 10K-ish (which is running the loop trail twice); Hikers will start after the trail runners and complete a 2.1 mile loop trail. All groups will travel by beautiful Clark Pond and end at the bridge. The trail run is not open for strollers and dogs; minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
Post-race festivities and awards start at noon at the kiosk and continues at the Public House in Niantic center. There is ample parking adjacent to preserve, with overflow at the Town Hall, 108 Pennsylvania Ave., Niantic.

The first 100 registered participants will receive an Oswegatchie Hills trail map bandana.
Pre-registration ends on September 24th; race fees will go up $5.00 on Friday, September 25th
