_ The 2020 Lace Up to End Child Abuse 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk:

Join us for the annual “Lace Up to End Child Abuse" 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk on April 25, 2020.  This family-friendly event is a fun, healthy way to come together as a community to raise awareness on child abuse in observance of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and to honor the lives of victims who have passed and those who have survived.  Proceeds from the event benefit Giving Trunk Foundation. • Children age 4 years and under are FREE with a paid adult.
• The event features a fun interactive kids zone, food trucks, photo booth and vendor expo!
• Wheelchairs, stroller, wagons & leashed friendly pets are welcome!
• Access to LifeTime Child Care facility (Must be childs parent/guardian to register child)
• This is NOT a chip timed race event.  Course set/marked by Centerpoint Events.

Event details and schedule

WHEN:   

Saturday, April 25, 2020 - 7:00am to 11:00am

• 1 Mile Run/Walk starts at 8:00am
• 5K starts at 8:30am

WHERE: 

• LifeTime- 381 E. Warner Rd. Gilbert, AZ 85296

PACKET PICKUP:

• Friday, April 24, 2020 at LifeTime (lobby) 9:00am - 11:00pm and 4:00pm - 6:30pm

RACE DAY INFO:

• Race Day Registration and Day of Packet Pick-Up will be available begining at 7:00am at LifeTime (we accept cash and credit cards as payment).
• Race entry fee increases day of race

VIRTUAL RUNNER (Can't make to the event?  Not local?  No problem!

If you can't join us on race day but still want to participate, here is your chance to take part in the event no matter where you are!  Choose to complete a 5K or 1 Mile from where ever you would like.  You can walk, run or use a treadmill.

• All virtual runners will receive a custom race shirt (US residents only)
  the week following the event.
