_ The 2nd Transfit For a Miracle 5K and Miracle Mile Fun Run:

Come out and support ESP by participating in the TransFIT for a Miracle 5K amd Miracle Mile Fun Run. The race starts at Transfit Athens, 1225 S. Milledge Ave, Athens, GA.

ESP creates opportunities for people with disabilities and their families to engage, connect, and thrive through after-school enrichment, summer camp, and family support programs. The ESP Miracle League will provide transformative experiences for individuals of all abilities to thrive through the magic of accessible play and inclusive baseball. The Miracle League complex will include a rubberized baseball field, inclusive playground, and splash-pad. 

Event details and schedule

Race day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 3:15PM

Fun Run: Starts at 4PM

5K: Starts at 4:30PM

Awards: Given after the 5K. Overall and Masters male/female, overall plus top 3 finishers in age groups beginning with 10 and under to 75 and over. Fun Run open to all ages.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 4/26/20.  Those registering after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Timing and Results: Finish line management provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservice.com, www.active.com, and www.athlinks.com

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2020 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
