The Atlanta Women's 5K is a run / walk, is a women's only event celebrating women and fitness. The event takes place on a lovely course around historic Candler Park.
Number Pick-Up1Number pick-up will begin Thursday, March 22nd at West Stride Running Store, 10am-6pm at 3517 Northside Pkwy NW #11 Atlanta, GA 30327-2324 (404) 467-1010 and will continue on Friday, March 23rd at Phidippides Ansley Mall, 10am-6pm at 1544 Piedmont Avenue NE # 119 Atlanta, GA 30324-5018 (404) 875-4268 and race day available near the start area in front of Mary Lin Elementary School on race morning from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. Number pick-up is RACE DAY only.Race Day Information2The 5K run/walk will start at 8:00 a.m. followed by the stroller event at 8:10 a.m.To Get There3Take I-75/85 connector to Exit #249D (North Ave.). Go east on North Ave. approximately 3.3 miles. North Ave. dead ends into Candler Dr. Follow ATC race signs to parking.Team Divisions4Teams of four (4) can compete in one of three divisionsOpen Women (under age 40), Masters Women (40-49) and Grand Masters (50+).

Mother/Daughter & Sister/Sister teams are comprised of 2 members. The winning Mother-Daughter team gets the Laura Murphy Award.

Teams must sign up with team member names @ atlantatrackclub.org by noon on Friday, 3/23. Runners may enter only one team competition. Team signup is FREE and located at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ZMK2TNPAwards5Each entrant will receive a short-sleeve performance shirt on race day. Awards will be given to the overall individual Open and Masters champions; top 3 Open teams; top 2 Masters teams; top Grand Masters team; top Mother/Daughter team; and top Sister/Sister team. Gift cards will also be given to the top 3 finishers in the following age groups 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75+.
