_ The 2021 Starkey Wilderness Stomp Half Marathon, Quarter & 5K:

We are very excited to bring you our fifth annual Starkey Wilderness Stomp Half Marathon, Quarter & 5k on Saturday, March 13, 2021.

Starkey Wilderness Park is an amazing Pasco County resource that is easily accessible to the greater Tampa Bay area via the Suncoast Parkway, I-75 and SR54--making it convenient for all to come and run with us in the woods.

The scenic hiking trails in Starkey feature some beautiful pine flatwoods, oak hammocks and wetland areas along the way. Best of all, the trails are wide and mostly non-technical--great for trail running beginners and for experienced off-road runners who want to go fast!

STARKEY WILDERNESS STOMP HALF MARATHON

• Start Time: 8am
• Course: Two loops of a mix of dirt hiking trails and just a little single track mountain bike trail. (but note this is not on the paved trails--it is on the dirt hiking trail) 
• Aid Stations: 2-3 on route with sports drink (each lap) and water. BUT, there will not be an aid station every mile.

STARKEY WILDERNESS STOMP QUARTERR MARATHON 6.55 MILES

• Start Time: 8:15am

• Course: A mix of dirt hiking trails and just a little single track mountain bike trail. (but note this is not on the paved trails--it is on the dirt hiking trail) 

• This is a trail run--expect a few roots and ruts, mud and sand!

• Aid Stations: 2 on route with sports drink and water.

STARKEY WILDERNESS STOMP 5K

• Start Time: 8:30am

• Course: Two loops of the park's dirt hiking trails (but note this is not on the paved trails--it is on the dirt hiking trail) 

• This is a trail run--expect a few roots and ruts, mud and sand!

• Aid Stations: 2 on route with sports drink and water.

Event Parking:

• Main event parking will be in the fields on the right of entering the park. Look for signage and follow volunteer direction.

We encourage you to make a day or a weekend out of racing at Starkey Wilderness Park. There are great paved trails and off-road mountain bike trails--just great places to explore.
