_ The 2020 Broward Kettle Krush 5K Run/Walk/Kid's Fun Run:

The Kettle Krush 5K is a "Christmas in July," family event designed to raise money and awareness to "krush" poverty and homelessness and provide the resources that people need to become self-sufficient and productive members of our community.  The race course at Markham Park is sanctioned by the USATF, and the race will be timed by AccuChipUSA, Inc. 

Check in:  6:00 a.m. Race begins:  7:00 a.m. (rain or shine). FREE parking available near the race pavilion. Awards will be given to runners within our "top 3" categories and age groups. A FREE race t-shirt will be given to all registrants.

Participation will not be permitted, unless a Waiver/Release has been signed prior to the race. No refunds!

The Salvation Army is a non-profit organization dedicated “to meet human needs without discrimination.” All funds raised from this charity event will support our programs and services including emergency shelter for men, women and children, as well as other transitional housing; feeding the hungry; after school/ summer programs for underserved youth, and Getting Ahead programs for our clients seeking greater economic stability, just to name a few.

6:00 – 6:45 a.m. Packet pickup/registration – pavilion #7

6:45 – 6:55 a.m.  Race kick-off presentation

7:00 a.m.             Runners/walkers start

8:15 a.m.              Kid's 100m Fun Run begins

8:45 a.m.             Overall awards

9:00 a.m.             Age group awards

9:35 a.m.             Final remarks and raffle prizes from the stage

10:00 a.m.           All roads at Markham Park re-open

The Markham Park entry fee will be waived for all Kettle Krush 5K participants.  Parking will also be FREE and available directly across from the Runner's Pavilion area.
